This Cameron Hotel is in Singapore and located at Upper Changi Road. This hotel used to serve the staff and airmen of RAF in Changi during the British Colonial days. Think it was built in 1956.

I recall the Cameron Hotel, though we stayed at the Pasir Ris Hotel for two weeks in October 1964 before my dad arranged accommodation on Opera Estate. I returned to Singapore in 1991, but the Pasir Ris Hotel was no more. 34 Jalan Terang Bulan still stands, though!
We’re planning to visit SG this year, and we’re planning to stay at cameron. Any reviews/ warnings/ whatsoevers about the hotel? Is it not like a motel for lovers and whatnots? haha. Thanks.
Sir, It couldnt have been built in 1956…because I lived there in 1955 when my father was posted to Changi as the S.ad O. of Changi and we didnt have a house to go to.
