This bridge spanned across the mouth of Kallang and Rochor River. It was built in 1956 by PWD (Public Works Department). It was built to ease the traffic condition at Geylang towards City. There used to be 2 stone lions on this bridge in the past.

This Sam Tat Building has been around the Kallang River scene for quite some time. It’s probably a warehouse too. I wonder how long will this building still be here.

This 99 years lease hold Costa Rhu Condo is located at the Tanjong Rhu. Before the development of the area into mainly private residential area, Tanjong Rhu is a place where you can find shipyards and many shipping repair and building shops there.

This Golden Mile Complex is a 16 storey high commercial and residential building. I always got mixed up with the other nearby building’s name ‘Golden Mile Tower’. Completed in 1973 and on a 99 years lease hold, it’s now on En-bloc sale if I’m not wrong. It’s probably one of those Thai favourite shopping places as there are many shops selling Thai things.

This WhiteSands Shopping Center is located at Pasir Ris Central, just next to the Pasir Ris MRT Station. It was recently renovated and takes on a new look inside. My kid asked me why “Sands” and not “Sand”? Do you know why haha?
