The red brick chalet is within walking distance from my home. The last time I used the chalet was about 30 years ago. I organised it for my staff and their families. We had barbecue and games. There were beer and soft drinks to go with and we had an enjoyable time. Many of us left after the barbecue but the fun continued inside the chalet playing card games. I took quite a number of pictures. If you wish to add them to your post, I can email them to you.
Thanks Philip. I really like to have photos of the lagoon and that ‘lost’ wet n wild theme park where accidents occurred and closed down. Can’t really remember if it’s called Wet n Wild then. I know it’s not near the chalet though.
My sister booked 2 units at this chalet fr 18th May 2013 to 20th May 2013. The chalet was such a DISAPPOINTMENT!!!! In the unit, there was not even the basic utensils such as cups or electric kettle was provided in the unit.Everything must be rented at the reception counter.Even the cheap budget hotel in Singapore provides that basic utensils!!!!imagine,if the youngster who booked any unit there that come with cup noodles???the cleanliness is outrageous!!!! To put it in the nut shell, I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS CHALET TO ANY ONE ESPECIALLY THE TOURISTS…AND THE RATE PER ROOM IS UNBELIEVABLE WITH THE FACILITIES PROVIDED!!!!AS FOR SAFETY OF THE UNIT. THOSE WHO HAVE KIDS,..BEWARE…..THE DRAINS ARE NOT PROPERLY COVERED!!!!!
